Disposable

It’s a cheap piece of plastic
But I guess the thought was nice
The prints won’t be fantastic
But that’s kind of memory I like
30 cities 30 days
7 Cocktails on the plane
They said it was the trip of a lifetime
They said that it would change everything
I never got that film developed
And so I guess I just stayed the same
Museums, maps, and monuments
But way too much incompetence
Let’s just find a place to sit
Cause I don’t give a shit
Maybe that’s just my sentimental side
One day I’ll bring you back here with me
It felt like something was missing
some things aren’t meant to be
I guess I just stayed the same

CERB Summer
02:25
|
|||
I don’t wanna have to change my address again. Update all my accounts and leave my neighborhood friends.
I don’t wanna buy boxes, book the elevator, rent a u-haul truck and take a day off of work.
I don’t wanna wait two months to get on with my life. Provide references for the new place that we like.
I don’t wanna deal with the impeding threat that we’ll probably get priced out again.
There’s a lotta things that I don’t wanna do but We still gotta move.
Ok maybe we took a bit of a Boujee swing. We’re not vapid enough people for this condo scene.
the swimming pool is still just a revit model and there’s a jeep dealership right across from our window.
Everything in the area is 3 dollars over priced and there’s 9 weed stores before the next set of lights.
Ya we had some good times, we always do. Let’s just find a new spot with a better view.
Hey toronto, Thanks for a great cerb summer but you keep closing all my favourite bars. I wanted to stay for the comeback but I don’t know if you can come back this far.
Ya we had some good times, we always do. Let’s find a better spot with a view.

Bonnie's Pool
03:38
|
|||
I got my bike and I got some change
You can ride on my pegs
And we'll be in Musselman's Lake
In ten minutes or so
I stole two quarters of a bottle of wine
No one will notice until later tonight
We'll drink it by the township's welcome sign
So maybe we can feel at home
Bonnie said that we couldn't go swimming in her pool
So We're gonna have to break in to that summer camp
The fence ain't to high, and if we get in quick
We can say that the water washed off our stamps
Or we could go in through the restaurant
Across the street then through that tunnel
There's just a lot more people to go through
We'd have to pretend that we bought a meal
And that'd be fine
If that's what you wanna do we got lots of time
I'm glad security wasn't tight
You're my third theft of the night
You weren't supposed to leave your brothers sight
But we don't care about them
They think that no one else should love you
Especially not some neighborhood dude
Well I'm not here to play by their rules
I don't give a shit about them
Bonnie said that we couldn't go swimming in her pool
So I set off this chain of events
Your brothers caught us out back the Lakeside Grill
And they kicked the shit out of me in front of all those camper kids
And you said that it's not over
They leave for school at the end of the summer
I said I'd take that beating everyday
You said you'd leave me if I got any dumber
And I guess that'd be fine
If that's what you wanna do we got lots of time
If you change your mind
I'd die for you any day and prove it any time

I'm On The Bridge
02:21
|
|||
The street is quiet all the patios are closed
The last trains buzzing, I guess it’s nearly time to go
Don’t worry, I made it. But I didn’t get a seat
I’m staring. At my reflections. It’s a tired version of me
Rumbling through the dark
Last minutes of service
I’m on the bridge, I’m just texting to let you know I’m getting close
We hit the open air, you know the spot, you know I’m almost there
So wait up just a little longer
Wait up just a little longer
Don’t worry, I made it but I held the hand rail the whole way
I better remember to wash them before I touch your face
And the only saving grace is the dim lights of the city
Your stop
Then a walk

Mac Jones
02:29
|
|||
My boss is mad at me but he’ll still talk about his fantasy football team
The order got delayed cause I had to take my dog to the vet again
And I know it sounds like a lie but she gets gastroenteritis like every six months or so
So we can chat about your stat line
How it’s always weird on a Thursday night
And the deep regret he feels cause he started Mac Jones
There’s only 7 more hours to go
I don’t really ask for a lot
I just wanna be able to look at my phone
And not worry that I’ll get caught
My boss is mad at me but we still joke about some guy we both know
And my dog is fine the medication helped us sleep through the night
I’m feeling good I’m feeling fine
I can afford my whole rent and I pay it all on time
Working the assembly line
Settling in to the thought that I’m
gonna have to make a new plan before I’m stuck here the rest of my life
Heading home on a Friday night

I Left My Phone In SF
01:58
|
|||
I’d rather leave my heart than my phone
In san Francisco
It’s gone and now I’m truly on my own
With out it I’ve got no one
I wish that I could call you up
Tell you everything is fine
I’m three drinks in and out of luck
I need you even more tonight
I’d rather leave my heart than my phone
In san Francisco
I know that I won’t soon be coming home
So tell me what’s the point in feeling
I wish that I could call you up
Tell you everything is fine
I’m three drinks in and out of luck
I need you even more tonight
I’d rather leave my heart than my phone
It sounds stupid I know
I’d rather leave my heart than my phone
I won’t need it where I’m going

Bookstore
01:13
|
|||
It took me three bookstores to figure out
You’re not the type of girl I can shop for
On the best-sellers table on the sales floors
Of suburban big box bookstores
It’s just an exercise in futility
What you want doesn’t ship to this country
Material things won’t express what you mean to me
I guess I’ll go back home
So I wrote this song, that you’ve been asking for all along
And I don’t think that it’s a great gift
But your mind works differently than mine and I love it
